MUSIC CHOIRS

Chancel Choir

Our large adult choir is open to singers of all ages and abilities.  We sing a variety of traditional and contemporary anthems for the 10:00am worship from September-May as well as for special services and concerts throughout the year.  The group is often joined by guest soloists, orchestra, and instrumentalists. 

Rehearsals: Wednesdays: 7:00pm-8:30pm and Sundays 9:15am (Childcare available)

Handbell Choir

The First Presbyterian Hand Bell Choir’s ministry is to provide music during a number of Sunday and special Holiday worship services throughout the year. While it is helpful to have a background in reading music it is not a requirement. Training and practice in bell technique and music reading occurs during each rehearsal. There are a number of returning bell members participating this year but there are positions open for any interested new members. Please contact the church office for more information and to indicate your interest in participating in the music making experience in a Handbell Choir!

Children's Choirs

Our children’s music program is woven into our LOGOS Wednesday afternoon opportunity. The choirs include: 
Wee Kirksingers - K-2nd Vocal choir
Celebrate Choir - 3rd-6th Vocal choir
Chime Choir - 3rd & 4th graders learn basic ringing skills on Hand chimes
Junior Kirkringers - 5th & 6th graders learn more advanced ringing skills on Hand bells
